Spectacular condition vintage bakelite clock. This General Electric Model 8H58, AKA "Select-O-Switch" includes a timer, and an outlet. It can be used to turn on/off the power of small appliances like radios, lamps, phone chargers, and anything else! (Nothing too big, though, don't push it!)
Functions perfectly, as far as I can tell - see the video. I restored it gently, the bakelite is shiny and near-pristine for something this old. No scratches or chips. Face glass is pretty clear, too. It was made between 1946 and 1950, so some surface marks are expected, very light and barely noticeable. This clock also features red painted details surrounding the clock face, all look marvelous (most models like this are missing paint and color in this area).
The cord and plug are original, the cord is covered in woven cloth and has been cleaned, too.
Back is marked with the patent number, volt specifications, etc.
