Free shipping! Beautifully made wooden, painted small chest with a lift top and two drawers. This was a working piece in its heyday, its withstood the rest of time and is a classic.
Dark painted wood on the exterior, interior made of VERY antique laundry product storage boxes - see photos! those are unfinished. Two metal pull handles, one is missing the little pulley, easy to replace both the hardware pieces. Exterior front has some scratches and signs of wear, the top of the chest is very faded. Lovely patina.

The edges are beautiful, federal style. Four round low profile feet support the piece. The back is finished and very nicely made. The mechanism to open the top is free of rust and preserved, works like a charm and without resistance.
The piece overall is ripe for refinishing, great for DIY!!
